Our new centre will be opening on Castle Street in the heart of Trowbridge in June 2026.
Sage Tuition is dedicated to providing high-quality, personalised tutoring to students of all abilities for KS2 - GCSE level. Our experienced tutors are committed to helping students build a strong foundation in both mathematics and English. With individualised attention, customised learning plans and adaptive approach, we strive to empower students to excel and gain confidence in their abilities. Sage Tuition gives students the opportunity to develop their understanding at their own pace and unlock their potential in an environment that is comfortable and supportive of their personal needs.
About Sage Tuition
Sage Tuition is owned by Sophie who first started working as a tutor 10 years ago and thus began her journey in the Education sector. With a passion for mathematics and her love of working with young people she completed her degree in BSc (Hons) Mathematics and its Learning, followed by a PGCE in Primary Education. She now specialises in maths KS2-GCSE and Functional skills maths and English.
In her 5 years of classroom teaching, Sophie held the position of maths lead in a local primary school and worked with the Maths Mobius Hub to develop children's core understanding of mathematics. Whilst teaching in various Primary schools in Wiltshire and working as a private tutor, Sophie worked alongside children with a range of abilities, allowing her to be adaptive in her style of tutoring.

Sessions run during term time and optional sessions are available during half terms.

Providing children with the skills and confidence to support them in passing their exams.

Closing Gaps in Learning
Use of scaffolding allows children to learn new information at their own pace and break down topics into smaller, more manageable steps.

Evening sessions run on:
Mondays, Wednesdays,
and Thursdays

*Sessions are subject to tutor availability and session capacity.

Catch-up
Sessions
If there are any scheduling conflicts, catch-up sessions are available as long as they are taken within two weeks of cancellation.
